Many people active in the field of research are linked to Centre of Registers Västra Götaland. If you wish to begin research work with the aid of a quality register you can apply to them for advice and support. They can provide orientation on current projects, exchange ideas and help you connect with the right people.

Researchers who are already working on a project can turn to Centre of Registers Västra Götaland for office facilities, support for statistical methods, and guidance and advice. This can include, for instance, the complicated process of obtaining permission to link and match registers.

We also provide IT support for conducting RRCT, register-based randomized controlled trials, where patients in a quality register are selected and then randomly allocated in different groups in a controlled study.
